Removing ballot boxes in Wyoming is a dirty attack on our democracy
WYOMING TRIBUNE EAGLE
Several months ago, when the Secretary of State’s office and the Legislature began bombarding the public with one voter restriction after another, my then 98-year-old father became angry. My father, a former Republican committeeman, a proud election judge with a long record of public service, and a man with an almost perfect voting record, might be barred from voting absentee. Through no fault of his own, his back problems limited his ability to ride in cars. Unable to stand upright, would he be able to vote at a machine? Even walking was torturous, requiring walking sticks while he was bent over at the waist.
