Know the Facts on Voter Restrictions
Early Voting
Early voting days have be reduced from 45 to 28 days, so if you plan to mail in your ballot, you need to remember to do it early so that you vote counts. Only seven counties have drop boxes. All absentee ballots must be received in the county clerk’s office no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. With Wyoming having only one remaining mail processing facility located within the state and that facility is being relocated to Denver, this further delays the time it takes for election mail to reach County Clerks ensuring your vote is counted.
Voting Integrity
We will never push specific parties or individual agendas. We care about protecting your freedom in elections and the integrity of our elections. Wyoming now ranks among the most restrictive states in the nation for voter access because fewer Wyomingites have access to the ballot than ever before – this in spite of the Heritage Foundation finding zero instances of fraud in Wyoming in the last decade. The emphasis on election integrity does not require blocking voter access to the polls.
Voter Purges
In Wyoming, purges remove every voter who did not participate in the General Election. As a result of record-low turnout in the 2022 general election, nearly 29% of Wyoming voters (more than 86,000) were purged from the voter registration rolls. Many voters discover they are no longer listed only when they arrive at the polling place in the next election. Fortunately, at least for now, it is still possible for Wyoming voters to re-register at their polling place and cast a vote in the primary election
